Nan Williams is Swansea University’s Pro-Chancellor and Deputy Chair of Council. A lay-member of Council from January 2024, she was appointed as Pro-Chancellor and Deputy Chair in January 2025, and will serve until December 2028.
Nan is an experienced business leader, entrepreneur and non-executive director. She is a founder and the group chief executive of Four Agency Worldwide Limited responsible for strategy, P&L delivery, operations and commercial management, and has managed a successful M&A programme delivering more than a dozen acquisitions.
Nan has a broad non-executive portfolio focused on Welsh institutions. She serves as President of the London Welsh Centre, is a board member of the Wales Millennium Centre, a co-opted member of the Welsh National Opera board, a Council member of the Arts Council of Wales, and is a founding supporter of Funding Focus, which campaigns for greater investment in female and minority-led businesses.
