How do I pay my deposit?
International students can pay their deposit and tuition fees using Swansea University's payment platform powered by our partner Convera GlobalPay. This allows you, your parents, and sponsors to pay GBP student fees in the currency of your choice in a simple and secure way.
Please refer to our How To Pay Your Fees page for more information.
I have already paid my deposit, when will I receive my CAS?
Once your offer is Unconditional, all CAS Shield steps have been adequately completed, and your deposit has cleared, the Admissions Office will prepare your CAS statement. CAS processing times may be increased during peak times so we advise you to complete everything as early as possible. As a general guidance, we aim to process your CAS within:
October: 5-7 working days
November: 7-10 working days
December (prior to deadline): 10 or more working days
You should have already received an invitation to CAS Shield, an online self-service system that enables you to provide all the necessary information to receive your CAS.
The information required will depend on your circumstances. Do not email documents to us as this will cause delays. All information regarding your CAS should be uploaded to the CAS Shield system.
If you have queries about your CAS, please use the messaging functionality within CAS Shield as this will allow us to deal with your queries more quickly. · More information can be found on our CAS webpages.
Where can I get information about making my visa application?
The University has comprehensive immigration guidance and support available for students on our Visas and Immigration pages.
My deposit has not cleared by the deadline – what happens next?
Unfortunately, if your deposit has not cleared in the University’s account by the deadline, it will not be possible for you to start your course until the next available intake.
If you do not wish to defer your place to the next available intake, you may be eligible for a refund of your deposit payment.
I am a sponsored student – what should I do?
If you have received sponsorship to cover your tuition fees and have been awarded a full scholarship from an external source approved by Swansea University, you will need to provide a financial guarantee letter from your sponsor. Fully sponsored students do not need to pay a deposit.
