We are delighted to welcome you back to Swansea University for this year’s alumni reunion, a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and revisit the place that holds so many shared memories.

Your weekend begins with a relaxed drinks reception in Singleton Abbey, setting the tone for a nostalgic few days. From there, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a mix of experiences, whether that’s exploring our Singleton or Bay campuses, or taking in the familiar beauty of the Gower Peninsula and Mumbles.

We’ll round things off with a special reunion gala dinner back in Singleton Abbey, the perfect setting to reflect, reminisce and celebrate lasting friendships.

We’ve got a packed weekend planned, just dip in and out of as much or as little as you like!

Friday

6pm - Friday Night Drinks in Singleton Abbey:

Join us for a welcome drink at Singleton Abbey, the historic heart of Swansea University. It’s a chance to catch up with familiar faces, share a few memories, and meet others who also studied at the university. An optional tour of this beautiful venue will also be available during the evening.

Saturday

Morning Options

10am - Bay Campus Tour:

The Bay Campus first opened its doors in 2015. It is now home to the Engineering Department, School of Management, and School of Computer Science & Mathematics, alongside research institutes such as ESRI (Energy Safety Research Institute) and CSIM (Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials). Join us for a walking tour of the Bay Campus and explore some of our world-class facilities.
(NOTE: The Bay Campus tour is at the same time as the Gower and Mumbles coach tour.)

10am - Coach tour of the Gower and Mumbles:

All aboard for a trip around the Gower and Mumbles, see the places where you must have spent time as a student, Mumbles, Three Cliffs, Langland, Caswell Bay, and lots more.
(NOTE: The Gower and Mumbles coach tour is at the same time as the Bay Campus tour.)

Afternoon Options

2pm - Tours & Talks on Singleton Campus:

Based in our vibrant Taliesin Arts Centre at the heart of our Singleton Campus, we will be arranging some talks and walking tours of campus.
(NOTE: We are still adding the final touches to this element of the programme and will share more information with people closer to the event.)

6:30pm - Reunion Dinner in Singleton Abbey:

Round off your reunion weekend with a three-course dinner in the historic Singleton Abbey.
