About the Curator

David Huw Williams was an undergraduate student at Swansea University from 1982-1985. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1988 and became a King's Counsel in 2008, primarily practicing in commercial crime and regulation. After initiating a series of remote law seminars for students displaced by the conflict in Ukraine, David reconnected with the university and has been happy to support its Sanctuary Programme, primarily through the forthcoming "Songs for Sanctuary" event, which aims to raise funds for postgraduate studies offered to those affected by conflict.
