Research in Modern Languages and Celtic Studies unites research staff in the departments of Welsh and of Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting, plus some in Media Studies and Management Studies who share our interests.
Our interests cluster around multi-language comparative cultural studies, literary and performance creativity, translation and technology, and (minority) language acquisition and policy. Some researchers work mostly on individual projects; others are involved in national and international, cross-disciplinary collaborations.
