Cruse work hard to ensure that anyone experiencing loss or grief has access to the right support when they need it. They work one-to-one or offer groups, among others fantastic services. When searching for your home, you want to make sure everything is as it should be. In Wales, landlords must be registered correctly in order to be legally allowed to rent their properties. Rentsmart Wales offers an open register of these landlords, where you can search the details of properties you are interested in renting and ensure that the details of both the property and its landlord are as expected.

Shelter is an amazing organisation offering free, independent advice on all matters of renting and finding accommodation. They can support you in understanding your tenancy rights and offer a specific guide to setting up your first home for under 25s.

Our Students' Union runs an Advice Center, providing advice on all manner of topics and concerns. Their finding housing and renting guides are especially handy when considering moving off campus or renting, even if it is not your first time doing so.

When living at University, you may need to see a doctor other than your usual GP. At all GP surgeries, you are able to register as a temporary patient for up to 3 months, meaning that even if you are awaiting treatment with your usual GP, you do not need to re-register permanently elsewhere in order to make an appointment.
