Meleri Wyn James is an author for adults, Welsh learners, young people and children who has published over 25 books. She published her first book of short stories when she was 21 years old after winning the Literary Medal at the Urdd Eisteddfod. She has been twice shortlisted for the Tir Na nOg prize for children and was the winner of the Prose Medal at the Llyn and Eifionydd National Eisteddfod for her novel Hallt (Salty). Her series for children, Na, Nel!, has also been adapted for the stage by the author. She has recently published Megs in English and Welsh for children between 8-11 years old. She has also written for radio and television.
