Our key projects range from the International Dylan Thomas Prize, the largest literary prize in the world for young writers, to a literary salon series featuring some of the most exciting writers from Wales and beyond, involvement in Being Human, the UK's only national Festival of the Humanities, and an extensive educational programme for schools and colleges called 'DylanED'.
We work with partners such as Amnesty International UK, Save the Children, the Rhys Davies Trust, British Council Wales and the Hay Festival.

'Words that Burn' - Paid Internship Opportunities for Swansea University Postgraduate students in English Literature and Creative Writing
The ‘Words that Burn’ project is an exciting initiative focusing on Human Rights education for Key Stage 3 pupils. Led by Dr Elaine Canning of Swansea University’s Cultural Institute, it is part of a major programme of DylanED* outreach activities generously funded by the Rhys Davies Trust in collaboration with Amnesty International UK (AIUK). The project aims to empower young people to learn about human rights and feel valued as poets and change makers.
