ACADEMIC YEAR: The academic year starts in October and will end in June.
VISAS: You may need a residence permit to study in Austria, please refer to the Austrian Embassy website for further information. You must allow enough time to complete the permit application and for your permit to be processed and sent to you before the start of term at Vienna. There can be delays so please do not leave this until the last minute as you cannot travel to Austria without it.
HEALTH INSURANCE: You will need health insurance for the duration of your studies, you will receive further information from your host on acceptance. You cannot use Swansea University's travel cover as a substitute for this.
