The University is located in Helsinki in Finland and is just over 2 hours from the Russian border. Winters are cold with temperatures in the minuses and darker due to limited daylight as a result of the Latitude. Helsinki enjoys long daylight hours during the summer and milder temperatures. Students will meet with an international mentor on arrival at Diakonia who can guide them around the campus and provide practical information. The university will also provide guidance to students when looking to secure accommodation.
