The University is located in Wurzburg in northern Bavaria an hour and a half from Nuremberg to the south east and Frankfurt to the North West. Winters are cold with temperatures in the minuses summers are generally warm. It is a very student friendly city with a large student population German language courses are available for exchange students.

VISA: You may need a visa and/or residence permit for your stay in Germany, please refer to the German Embassy website to find out if you should apply before you travel. Your host university will provide you with the most up to date visa and immigration information.
ACCOMMODATION: Housing is available for exchange students but, you must apply by the deadline to be allocated a room. 15th June for semester 1 and 15th January for semester 2.
HEALTH INSURANCE: You will be required to purchase mandatory health insurance for your time at Wurburg. More information can be found here.
