Students studying together

Linköping University is located in Sweden just over 2 hours’ drive from Stockholm. You are likely to experience long cold winters with temperatures hovering just above freezing in the day and short warm summers. The university prides itself on its work in the areas of medicine, teacher training, business and economics and offers international students a great opportunity to study in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment. The university does not have its own accommodation but can direct students to providers.

It will not be possible to complete a year abroad at this University if you have any assessments, such as supplementary or deferred exams, during the August assessment period at Swansea University.

Dylan's Experience

Dylan, who studies Economics, spent a year studying at Linköping University, in Sweden.

Studying in Sweden has been a great mix of university life, travel, and trying new things. From skiing and hiking to seeing reindeer up north, it’s been an amazing way to experience a new culture and meet people from all over the world. Linköping is a friendly student city and has made settling in easy. I’ve even managed to learn a bit of Swedish along the way.
