ACADEMIC YEAR: The academic year in Switzerland runs roughly from September to June. Exact dates will be shared by your host university.
VISAS: You may need a visa and/or residence permit for your stay in Switzerland. Please refer to Switzerland's online visa webpage to find out if you should apply before you travel. Your host will provide you with more information.
HEALTH INSURANCE: You will need to purchase mandatory health insurance for your time in Switzerland. You cannot use Swansea University's travel cover to substitute for this. More information will be provided by your host university.
