Entry Requirements for Nigerian Students

Foundation Programme:
WAEC Senior School Leaving Certificate (WASSCE) - with high grades. English Language: Minimum C6 in WAEC English

Undergraduate Programmes:
Candidates are expected to have achieved a National Diploma with Lower Credit with WAEC WASSCE English Language Grade C6 or equivalent.

Postgraduate Programmes:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree, or its equivalent, from a recognised University/College of Higher Education with a minimum of 2.2 class or GPA 2.5 awarded with a WAEC WASSCE English Language Grade C6 or equivalent.

Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements and/or English Language requirements. You are advised to check with the individual course or check the conditions stated in your offer letter. Please see the entry requirements page for further details

Swansea University International Scholarships

Swansea University offers a range of international scholarships to help the most talented and ambitious students to reach their potential. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must have submitted an application to study at Swansea University as you will need your student number to complete the scholarship form.

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, it is advised that you should apply to Swansea University as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays.

When preparing to study abroad applying for and getting your Visa can be stressful. That is why we have comprehensive visa advice pages , covering information from what type of visa you need, how to apply, bringing family or working during your studies.

How to Apply

You can submit an application form using our online system. You will be required to send us your transcripts, English language certificates and a personal statement.

Please remember that offers can take up to 5 days to be processed.
