The Accommodation Payment offers up to £750.00 per academic year. There are a limited number of Accommodation Support Payments available for 24/25 and therefore awards will be made on a first come, first served basis.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to apply for the Accommodation Support Payment, you must meet the below criteria:
- You are a new/ continuing enrolled student for the current academic year
- You are living in Swansea University accommodation, and you do not pay for any other properties (please see list of qualifying accommodation below)
- You are on a full-time/ part-time course and receiving all funding available to you
- You are in financial hardship and willing to undertake a financial assessment of your circumstances and provide evidence in support

- The College (at Bay Campus)
- Singleton Campus
- Beck House
- Seren *
- True *
* For ‘Seren’ or ‘True’ accommodation your contract must be via the Accommodation team within the University. Please note, if you have a ‘direct-let’ tenancy with these accommodation providers, you will not be eligible for the Accommodation Support Payment.

Please select the Student Support Fund, then click the ‘Accommodation Support Payment’ option in the dropdown menu.
We will require the below to be provided to support your application:
- Student Funding entitlement letter showing you are receiving full funding.
- Tenancy Agreement for your current accommodation from Swansea University’s Accommodation team *
- Bank statements for ALL bank/building society/savings/ISA accounts.
- Any other evidence required to make a financial assessment as requested by the Money@CampusLife assessment team.
