Applications for most of our postgraduate taught programmes can be made online through our 'Learner Gateway' Application Portal. Some courses have a different application process:

 Postgraduate application process:

  • Choose the course you want to apply for - search our postgraduate taught A-Z
  • Check the entry requirements for the course on the relevant course page.
  • Make sure you have all your supporting documents ready – see our ‘document checklist’ below.  Your application may be delayed or withdrawn if you fail to provide all the required documents.
  • Apply online
  • Once you've submitted your application, you'll receive an email which contains your student number. This must be kept in a safe place and used in all future correspondence with us.
  • Your application will be considered by the relevant selection team. We’ll be in touch if any further information is needed.
  • We try to make a decision on your application as quickly as possible. If you have fully completed your application form and submitted the required supporting documents, this will normally be within 5 working days.
  • You will receive an email when a decision has been made on your application. If your application has been accepted, you can view the offer letter and University Terms and Conditions and respond immediately.
