Group Overview
Semiconductor and Electronic Materials group encompasses forefront research activities on next generation semiconductors and two-dimensional materials with applications in photo-electronic and photonic devices, power electronics, sensors and integrated micro/nanosystems. We conduct both theoretical and experimental investigations on devices spanning everything from small signal, low frequency, and self-powered to high power and high frequency.
There are following ongoing research activities:
- Micro/nano electromechanical systems
- Sensors and actuators
- Theoretical modelling of semiconductor materials and devices
- Optical, RF, and medical devices and systems
- Quantum devices
- Oxide and Chalcogenide MOCVD
- Energy harvesting devices
