Chiara Seghieri

Chiara Seghieri is Associate Professor of Social Statistics at the Management and Health Laboratory of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa (Italy). Her current research interests focus on development and application of statistical methods for health services research, including measurement and evaluation of quality and equity of care, and the analysis of patterns of care for patients with chronic diseases.

She collaborates with several international institutions and academic/research centres including Swansea University, The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (Dartmouth University, US), and The Netherlands institute for Health Services Research – NIVEL.

 

Chiara has been the scientific responsible for Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of national and international projects including:

  • DigiCare4You - an intersectoral innovative solution involving DIGItal tools, empowering families and integrating community care services for the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes and hypertension - funded under Horizon 2020,
  • HarmonicSS - HArmonisation and integrative analysis of regional, national and international cohorts on primary Sjögren’s Syndrome (pSS) towards improved stratification, treatment and health policy making disease - funded under Horizon 2020
  • QUALICOPC - Quality and costs of primary care in Europe - funded under FP7-HEALTH.
