How to Apply for a Sport Scholarship at Swansea University

We encourage applications for our sport scholarships from students who are currently competing at an advanced level in their chosen sport.

We use a simple online application process. For our Swansea University Sport Scholarship all you need to do is complete the short online form below.

To complete the form and be considered for one of our scholarships, you will need to give us as much evidence as possible to demonstrate your current level of sporting ability, including sporting achievements, goals, as well as two named references in support of your application. You will also need your UCAS or, if you are a current student, your student number.

When Can I Apply for a Sport Scholarship at Swansea University?

Undergraduates can apply for the Swansea University Sport Scholarship using the form below from November 2024 through to 31 March 2025 by completing the short online form below. We will open applications again briefly during the clearing period in August.

Can any sport be eligible for a sport scholarship from Swansea University?

Priority is given, but is not limited to BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sports) sports.

When to Apply

When can I apply for a Sport Scholarship at Swansea University?

The application process will open from 1^st November and close on the 31^st of March 2024. Applications after this date will not be accepted.

Can I apply for a Sport Swansea Scholarship through clearing?

Our scholarship applications will re-open for one week in August (date TBC) to accommodate those student athletes who are entering through clearing. Applications during this time can be made via our website.

The application deadline for a Sport Swansea Scholarship has passed, can I still apply?

Unfortunately, you will be unable to apply outside of the application windows. However, as sports scholarships are issued on an annual basis, you would be eligible to apply for a scholarship for the next academic year.
