Dr Ines Fürtbauer is an Associate Professor at Swansea University specialising in behavioural endocrinology.
Ines is Head of the Behavioural Ecology and Endocrinology Research Lab and member of the Behavioural Ecology and Evolution Research Theme in the Department of Biosciences. She has previously held academic positions at Georg-August-University Göttingen and Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig, and was awarded a DFG Research Fellowship at Swansea.
Ines is an Ethics Editor for Animal Behaviour and the Secretary of the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB) Ethical Committee and sits on other internal and external Ethics Committees.
Ines is a Co-founder & Co-Director of the Swansea University-University of Cape Town Collaborative PhD programme.
