The learning will consider occupational science and occupational therapy theory and translate its benefits and potential for occupational therapists working within community settings in local, national and international contexts. The module will encourage examination of the importance of social participation, social inclusion and the potential of co-production through the medium of occupational practice. It will introduce the potential for occupational therapists to embrace systems working with influential stakeholders including funding agencies and policy makers towards impacting on the lives of people in groups and communities, including those at the margins of the mainstream.
