About

Suresh qualified in Medicine from the University of Mysore, India in 2000. He completed his specialist training in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine from Wales Deanery. His clinical research interest is on developing biomarkers in blood coagulation utilising rheological techniques. He was awarded PhD by Swansea University on investigating the effect of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on blood clot microstructure. Suresh was involved in the formation and the development of Welsh Centre for Emergency Medicine Research (WCEMR) that is based in Morriston Hospital Emergency Department.

Currently, Suresh is a clinical academic working as honorary consultant in Emergency Medicine (EM) and Intensive Care Medicine at Morriston Hospital, Swansea Bay University Health Board and Senior Lecturer in Emergency Medicine (Enhanced Research) at Swansea University.
