About

Nikol is a Senior Lecturer in Cardiovascular Research. Her primary research focuses on tachycardia and calcium signalling in cardiac function, utilising multimodal statistical approaches to analyse complex biological data and model nonlinear biological processes.

Since October 2022, she has been an active member of the National Cardiovascular Research Network. 

Nikol holds a PhD in Pharmacology and Pulmonary Physiopathology from the University of Naples, Italy, which she completed in 2009, as well as a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies from the University of Naples Federico II, awarded in 2003.
