About

Sue has a professional background in management accounting and over 40 years of teaching experience in Further Education, Higher Education and the private sector, via her training company, delivering ACCA professional paper programmes.  Sue is a graduate of the Polytechnic of Wales, Cardiff University and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Sue has extensive programme management experience, having previously been the Programme Director for the BSc Accounting and Finance programme and currently Programme Director for the School of Management’s Foundation degree programmes.  Prior to taking up this role, Sue was the Deputy Director of Learning and Teaching for the School.

Career Highlights

Teaching Interests

Teaching interests include mainly management accounting at undergraduate level. Management accounting includes costing methods and application of decision-making techniques in a range of scenarios.  In addition, Sue has taught financial accounting and financial management.
