Sarah has over a decade of experience as an Environmental Scientist, Consultant, and Researcher. Before her move to Swansea University, she worked in Sydney, Australia and was responsible for delivering quality Environmental Impact Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments to both government and private sector clients across the telecommunications, energy (wind/coal), and transportation (road/rail) industries. Completing energy audits and ensuring legal compliance in relation to water quality and environmental management systems also formed part of Sarah’s remit.
Sarah began teaching undergraduate students at Swansea University in 2017, having previously worked within the Higher Education sector in Sydney, Australia; where she also developed sustainability policies and implemented sustainability initiatives.
Sarah’s research with the Centre for Health and Environmental Management Research and Innovation (CHEMRI) explores current air quality policy, legislation, and associated concentration thresholds. Additionally, as part of CHEMRI, Sarah has worked with local authorities and the Welsh and UK Governments in relation to the impacts of air quality policy.
