About
Tom Hannant joined the School of Law as Lecturer in Law in Summer 2017. He has degrees from Cardiff University (LLB), The University of Cambridge (LLM), and Queen Mary, University of London (PhD).
Tom’s main research interests are in Legal & Political Philosophy, Public Law, and Human Rights. His current research focuses on the theoretical foundations of human rights and theoretical aspects of UK Public Law. He also convenes the School’s Public Law Discussion Group.
Tom teaches Public Law to first-year undergraduates. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and participates in the University’s Open Door Teaching programme.
