About
Tingyu is a Lecturer in Accounting at Swansea University. She obtained her BSc in International Economics and Trade from Dalian Maritime University, her MSc in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sheffield and her PhD in Accounting from the University of Southampton.
She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). During her PhD journey, she was a member of the Education Development Office (EDO) at Southampton Business School. Her main duties focused on the dissertation program at Southampton Business School, including the preparation of a detailed student handbook and guidance for dissertation supervisors & the planning, coordination, and delivery of a program of dissertation sessions, and more.
From 2015 to 2017, Tingyu worked for Konka Group Co., Ltd., as a Supervisor of Foreign Issues in the Human Resources Centre.
Tingyu's main research interests lie in financial accounting, market-based accounting, corporate finance, and corporate governance, with a particular focus on issues related to bank regulation changes and borrowers' accounting practices.
