Societies 

Joining a club or society is a great way to meet like-minded people and make great friends. With over 150 societies at Swansea, you can browse and sign up to a sports club or society by the visiting the Student' Union website. 

Sports

Here at Swansea we champion sports for all and aim to offer all students a wide range of opportunities to get involved. Whether you are an experienced athlete or looking to try a new sport, Swansea's 56 sports clubs, Get Active scheme and fantastic facilities will be all you need to get started. 

Volunteering

Discovery SVS is a Swansea University student led charity that manages a wide range of volunteering projects. Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, learn new skills and make a different to the local community.

Swansea City, with a population of over 240,000 people, is home to over 50 beautiful beaches spanning an incredible 32-mile coastline. Host to the biggest indoor market in Wales, a marina and a brand new Digital Arena, there are plenty to do in this vibrant and exciting city!

What can I study at Swansea? 

From Aerospace Engineering to Modern Languages, choose from a wide ranges of subjects in our three Faculties: 

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences offers courses in Arts, Humanities, Law and Management. 

The Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science offers courses in Medicine, Health, Social Care and Life Sciences. 

The Faculty of Science and Engineering offers courses in all disciplines of Engineering and Science including Sports Science and Computer Science.
