In this episode, Mandy talks to Emma James, she's a senior lecturer in accounting and finance here at Swansea University. She is a professionally qualified accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE, and has a wealth of industrial experiences, which she enjoys sharing with her students in creative ways.
Her innovative teaching methods and specialist knowledge of e-learning have enabled her to deliver record results in terms of degree outcomes and student feedback. The modules Emma has created have been singled out by employers for their vocational value. They are praised by students who have identified these modules as giving them an employability edge.
