Course Overview

Our BSc Mathematics with a foundation year allows students who do not have the necessary qualifications to enter the degree at year one. You will be given the chance to develop an understanding which is essential to successfully completing the degree.

The full BSc degree covers a broad base of classical and modern mathematics. It allows you to focus on one aspect of the subject, or cover a breadth of material.

Modules

You will study the following compulsory modules and select from a choice of optional modules over the course of your degree. As you progress through your course you will have more flexibility to study more of the topics that interest you, culminating, in your final year with a 30-credit project module, studying an area of Mathematics of your choosing.
