The Foundation Year is an excellent pathway to gaining the required knowledge and skills in finance before joining Year 1 students of the BSc Finance (Sustainability) degree within the School of Management.
This degree is perfect if you have the passion to understand modern finance theories and practice while also emphasising the importance of sustainability in business.
Combining theory with the practical application, you will gain both a sound foundation of finance and the skills demanded in sustainability in reporting and investment, enabling the analysis and critical evaluation of real-world financial issues and concepts. This includes a comprehensive exploration of topics like environmental economics, sustainable investing, financial sustainable reporting, as well as the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data and other sustainability measures into the teaching approach.
The Foundation Year is taught at The College, located next to the School of Management. Once you complete this year, you will move to the School of Management building for the remainder of your studies.
