International Business Finance (Top Up Degree), BSc (Hons)

Applicants will typically have studied a Foundation Degree, HND or equivalent, in a subject allied to finance and/or accounting or business studies. Students will be admitted on the basis of recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

As a guideline, below are examples of the overall grades we would typically accept, subject to a match in prior study:

• SQA - Grade B classification overall
• HND - Merit
• Associate Degree GPA 3.0 or 75%
• Dazhuan - 75%

English Language
Non-native English speakers must achieve 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent tests.

For students who fall short of only the English language requirement we offer a range of pre-sessional training programmes that you may take before starting your degree programme

We are proud to provide an outstanding educational experience, using the most effective learning and teaching approaches, carefully tailored to suit the specific needs of your course. Our courses consist of in-person, on-campus teaching, enabling full engagement with your lecturers and fellow students.

Practical skills session sand workshops allow for group working and demonstrations.  Our approach may also include the use of some online learning to support and enhance traditional face-to-face teaching.

Lecture recordings allow for more flexibility to revisit material, to revise for assessments and to enhance learning outside of the classroom. Some modules have extra resources in Canvas, such as videos, slides and quizzes enabling further flexible study.

This course may offer some modules taught through the medium of Welsh or bilingually for students who consider themselves to be fluent Welsh speakers. For more details on the provision available see the Welsh Provision expander below.

Unfortunately, there is currently no formal Welsh-medium provision on this course. The School of Management also offers a Developing Futures Scholarship for international undergraduate students who have an offer to study at the School of Management. The scholarship is to the value of up to £2,000 for one academic year, which is automatically deducted from tuition fees.
