General Cancellation Policy

• All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email : accommodation@swansea.ac.uk
  The cancellation request must include your full name and check-in date.

Cancellation Charges & Refunds

Timeframe of Cancellation:

• More than 7 days before check-in: Full refund minus a £15 admin fee
• 3-7 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking cost
• Less than 72 hours before check-in: No refund
• No-show without prior notice: No refund, full charge applies

Early Departure & Amendments

• Guests who depart earlier than the booked check-out date will not be eligible for a refund for unused nights.
• Changes to booking dates are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

• If cancellation is due to medical emergencies, travel restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances, Swansea University may consider a refund upon submission of supporting evidence (e.g., medical certificate, travel disruption notice).
• The University reserves the right to waive or amend fees on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days via the original payment method.
  Swansea University is not responsible for delays caused by external banking processes.
