A Pioneering Collaborative Project
The Health and Wellbeing Academy is a collaborative project between The School of Health and Social Care at Swansea University and ARCH (A Regional Collaboration for Health). The main purpose of the Academy is to improve the health and wellbeing of people in south west Wales by bringing together innovation, education, enterprise and world class research.

Our Vision
The Health and Wellbeing Academy aims to:
- Provide holistic, person-centred care to people of all ages
- Offer support, advice and information that helps people improve their own health and wellbeing
- Offer services that support early identification, diagnosis and treatment of health and social care conditions
- Improve care outcomes for patients
- Undertake excellent research and use this to inform the way we work and the services we provide
- Contribute to delivering a sustainable, skilled workforce fit for the future
- Support economic regeneration by contributing to workforce re-design
