This year, Edmundo Deville Del Aguila received the Ince Prize for highest overall LLM mark in Part 1. Edmundo hails from Peru and has worked in legal practice for several years before joining Swansea.
Edmundo was presented with his award by Ince's joint managing partner, Michael Volikas. The award included a cash prize of £500 and a week's internship with the firm.
Speaking after the event, Professor Barış Soyer, Director of Shipping & Trade, said:
“We are very proud of Edmundo's achievement, especially since he was competing against such a strong intake this year. The prize is well deserved, and we are sure that the work experience will be invaluable to him. As always, we are grateful to Ince for their support and generosity. It is a great delight for us to be associated with one of the largest international law firms operating in the field."
