Key Information
The range of projects include the application of new models of operational excellence to modern manufacturing and service provision.
The background theories of these studies should include a socio-technical systems analysis, learning organisation, lean and highly reliable organisational approaches. Applications would be welcomed in the subject areas of psychologically safe workplaces, operational excellence, and innovations (including AI and its use for optimised performance) of organisations and their supply chains.
The ideal research will be qualitative and case study based with the intention of theory building.
Eligibility
Qualifications required
A minimum of a 2.1 at Undergraduate and a merit at Masters, or equivalent international qualifications.
Subject backgrounds considered
Management, Engineering, and Social Sciences.
Experience/other skills and qualities required
Ideally some (2 years) experience of (or interest in) the manufacturing or service sectors.
