Swansea University first year students make their country proud!

The Six Nations is always a thrilling celebration of rugby, and this year, Swansea University is immensely proud to have two of our own students representing Wales in the U20s squad. This is a remarkable achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder to see them take to the international stage.

First-year students Scott Delnevo (Scarlets) and Iori Badham (Aberavon) have earned their place in the Wales U20s squad, a testament to their talent, dedication, and hard work both on and off the field.

Scott, a dynamic full-back, was selected to start in Wales’ opening fixture against France last week—a tough battle that showcased the intensity of U20s international rugby.

Iori, also a talented full-back, is eagerly awaiting his opportunity to make an impact as the competition unfolds.

As the team prepares for their next challenge this weekend, we have no doubt that both Scott and Iori will make Swansea University proud. Representing your country in the Six Nations is a milestone achievement, and we can’t wait to see them shine on the international stage.

Congratulations, Scott and Iori—your Swansea University family is behind you all the way! 🏉🔥
