Why did you choose to study at Swansea University? 

Swansea University ranked 24th overall and ranked 28th in Accounting and Finance subject in UK by the Guardian University Guide 2021. Swansea University has a confluence of faculties from different parts of the world that have diversified and an epitome of knowledge that I have been waiting to consume. I am sure that my exposure to the faculties and the facilities will aid in the overall development of my personality and help me broaden my concepts from the Under-Graduate level to the Graduate stage. The renowned faculty combined with the world class research facilities, pleasant University ambience and a balanced academic program are the factors which have motivated me to apply to the Swansea University where I will be able to enhance my knowledge with the opportunity of getting exposure to the latest developments taking place and I am sure it would help me to mould my career in a great way.

Can you tell us about your course and what do you enjoy the most? 

MSc International Accounting and Finance programme in Swansea university is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) which is largest accounting professional body having recognition worldwide. Swansea university School of Management also has strong links with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). This close affiliation with professional bodies will enhance my career prospects and give me the edge to thrive in today’s competitive world. Swansea MSc International Accounting and Finance program has excellent course structure consisting of International Financial Markets, Financial Modelling, Research Skills and has options to select subjects like Management Accounting, Global risk management and Derivatives, International corporate governance, Asset Management etc. These course structure helps me to boost my career and helps me to achieve my desired job in future. I have also heard that Swansea university has a very excellent student support teams which helps the students to complete their masters smoothly.
