Natural Products BioHUB Project Manager, Dr Farooq Shah commented:
‘Natural products are relatively more sustainable and often have lower emissions thus contribute to NetZero targets. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to learn about the latest research and technologies which can be adopted to reduce the emissions from agricultural practices and help develop strategies for NetZero agriculture. One of the key objectives of the Natural Products BioHUB is to work with businesses and communities to understand their needs and co-create solutions including upskilling of the workforce. We look forward to sharing our key findings with the Welsh Government to form part of the consultation on Wales’ climate action plan.’
