At Swansea University, we make it easy. We offer a range of University-managed accommodation, and specifically for Clearing students, we offer Guaranteed Accommodation.

The accommodation application process

Step 1 | Apply for accommodation

Use your UCAS Personal ID to apply. If you didn’t apply through UCAS, use your Clearing Student ID instead. Create an account on the residences portal and follow the instructions to complete your application, including any medical conditions or additional needs.

Step 2 | Track and update your application

After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You can log in at any time to check your status or update your preferences. Updating your preferences won’t affect your original application date.

Step 3 | Receive your allocation

We’ll confirm your accommodation once your place at Swansea University is secured, on or shortly after A-Level Results Day.

Step 4 | Accept your offer and pay

Accept your accommodation, pay the advance rent, and manage your fees through the portal.
