This module is aimed at registered health care professionals working with clients who have a diagnosis of heart failure. With the prevalence of heart failure increasing in Western Society, health care professionals need access to comprehensive heart failure education to support the care and long-term management of patients living with heart failure. The aim of this module is to explore and develop the students’ knowledge and skills in the early detection, assessment and management of patients living with heart failure.

The module adopts a blended learning approach which means that contact hours will be delivered through a blend of live activities online and on-campus or in clinical practice. Contact hours will be delivered through a blend of live activities and may include, for example, lectures, seminars, practical sessions and Personal Tutoring sessions
