Course Details

With an increasing demand for same day consultations for minor illness presentations, both primary and urgent care setting have had to review their work force provision. Traditional roles are developing, and the assessment and management of minor illnesses is a defined example of a changing workforce. The core emphasis of this module is to enable the registered practitioner to recognise what is minor health problem and what requires onward referral. Teaching is delivered using a blended approach and focusses on both face to face patient assessment and remote patient assessment reflecting changes in current clinical practice.
